Matching

It is to be taken in that 100% colour matching is impracticable. Therefore, we put to use colour matching software for speed and skill of the chemists for accuracy.

By all means, ink matching is painstaking. There exist an oversight on the general methods employed for colour matching be it manual or computerized. Also, any little variation is blown up and sometimes out of proportion in the press.

Most ink makers are wary of colour matching - not us. Our chemists have a mastery on the colours and colour combinations. We attach more importance to the conditions of matchings than the method itself.

All our colour matchings are conducted under direct light from a northern sky or colour matching lamp at a
5000oK colour temperature - quantity of illumination > 100 foot candles.

Colours are matched not only for hue but also for bronzing and sheen.

The shade and the tinctorial strength are checked by reductions; unit weight of each ink is intimately mixed

with 10 units weight of opaque white ink (differences in the two inks show up more noticeably as tints than as full strength colours).

The prints are observed wet for any change in appearance during drying and after drying.

Difference spotted by transmitted light is also observed. We take into account, induced contrasts that affect

    the colour match.

The procedure above is of the first magnitude to us. Then we employ the computerized system that uses the corrections to the kubelka-munk equation interfaced with the skill of the chemists for a near perfect match. It is to be taken in that 100% colour matching is impracticable. Therefore, we put to use colour matching software for speed and skill of the chemists for accuracy.

Every customer is assisted with service through a phone call; pantone colours formulated with the mix
colours that we have developed is let known to the customer with the mixing proportions - all ensuring inks at your doorsteps at the quickest possible time.

The 13 base colours - mix colours are compatible with wide range of substrates and are standardized repeatedly.
